Before Lesson

• Student and teacher shall wash hands and/or use hand sanitizer

• Piano shall be wiped down with sanitation wipe or cleaning solution Sanitation wipes or hand sanitizer should be readily available during lesson

• If either teacher, student, or household member has symptoms (i.e. coughing or sneezing), client shall work with teacher to determine if lesson should be rescheduled or cancelled (virtual option varies case by case)

During Lesson

• Teacher seat or stance shall be 6 feet apart from the student (will depend on layout of the home/piano) for majority of lesson (teacher may temporarily point to book/piano if necessary)

• Teacher shall wear a mask for the duration of the lesson

• Teacher and student should refrain from touching one's face during the lesson

• Student and teacher should use their own writing utensils unless wiped with a sanitary wipe

• Household members should maximize distance when in the same room as the teacher/student

After Lesson

• Student and teacher shall wash hands and/or use hand sanitizer

• Client shall wipe down doorbell, piano, and any writing utensils used
